Google Earth

Wow!

Google launched the beta of Google Earth today. Google Earth is a standalone application that allows you to fly around the Earth looking at pretty sattelite photos. They’ve also built in local search for the USA, Canada and the UK and will, of course, be expanding the whole thing over time.

I love it! Not least because the “fly to” option is really cool to watch. Get it, play with it!

Left/Right symmetry

Today I discovered that I can jump and click my heels to the left, but oddly not to the right.

This got me wondering why. I was also wondering what other things I can do on one side of my body but not the other.

So far I’ve discovered that I can curl my lip to the right but not to the left and I can raise my left eyebrow but not my right

I’m fairly sure I’ve not had a stroke so can anyone explain this?

What can you do one way but not the other?

I really should get around to creating some icons to finish off the menu over there on the left

Do people like them? Can anyone suggest anything?
