A little puzzle for you

My son came back from a visit to our friends with a copy of Professor Leighton and the Mysterious Village on his Nintendo DS. He’s really taken to it, saying that it was very addictive.
For those that don’t know all it is really is a collection of puzzles presented within a story that seems to be about a sort of Victorian gentleman adventurer. It is beautifully presented from what I’ve seen. Even though he used the word “addictive” it is sort of a relief as it is taxing his mind a little more than Pokemon.
Anyway, he made me smile last night as he looked over my shoulder as I was playing it. I was tackling a puzzle he hadn’t seen before and when he saw me musing on it, he chirped in with the answer.
Here’s the puzzle. It’s not that hard but I was nonetheless impressed since he’s only 10.
Three horses are in a race on a circular racetrack. Each horse runs at a different speed and covers a different number of laps in a minute.
Horse A does 2 laps
Horse B does 3 laps
Horse C does 6 laps
How long will it be before all three horses meet up at the start/finish line?
Your answers please! Please show your working
my brain hurts… but is it 30 seconds?
wait, it’s totally not. It’s one minute, isn’t it?
Dang, you got it.
It’s 1 minute.
