I’ve changed something.

As you can no doubt see if you’ve been here before I’m having a little change around. This change has been prompted by my need to start writing stuff (again). The old site was just that, old. It was also not a great example of what I now do – when I look at some of the underlying code it made me weep.

I’ve also got a “proper” business orientated site on the boil (watch this space) so this site will become more of a rant step platform for my idle ramblings that have recently been confined to Twitter. Sometimes 140 characters isn’t enough (some would argue that it’s also sometimes too much) so I thought I’d pull my finger out of my arse and set up a bona-fide blog.

I recently used WordPress to set up a quick site for my local school’s PTA and was very impressed. It’s moved on a lot since I last dipped into it. Now, it’s a very, very competent tool with a great user interface and what seems to be a very simple templating system.

So here goes… first proper post should follow later today… or maybe tomorrow morning, dunno.
