I made this little fella from my dinner the other day. Nik told me off for playing with my food but the kids thought it was hilarious.

By the way, if you don’t know, a “Faggot” is a British dish. It’s a kind of meatball traditionally made from Pig liver and heart, belly pork, herbs and spices. It’s then wrapped in Pig Caul (the membrane from the pig’s abdominal wall) and roasted.

Faggots should be served with onion gravy and peas (and perhaps mashed potato).

These were made by my local butcher. Don’t eat those nasty things from the chiller in the supermarket (the ones that sound like they’re clever) – they’re not faggots!

They sound awful but trust me, they are delicious!
